Program details
It runs 24 months in the day schedule (27 months in the evening schedule) for the associate degree. Students complete classroom instruction and on-campus ultrasound laboratory practice (including OB/GYN, abdominal, and breast simulators) combined with supervised clinical experience; cardiovascular sonography programs are offered at the Ramsey and Nutley campuses. Graduates receive an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography; bachelor’s-degree options in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography and Diagnostic Medical Sonography are also offered. Clinical training covers cardiac sonography, echocardiography, vascular sonography, abdomen, obstetrics, and gynecology sonography.
