The College of Southern Nevada offers two Associate of Applied Science Degrees in Diagnostic Medical Sonography: General/Vascular and Cardiac/Vascular tracks. These programs prepare students for entry-level positions by focusing on knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed in the field. Graduates are eligible for ARDMS exams to become credentialed sonographers. CSN’s program, unique in Nevada for its CAAHEP accreditation, allows students to take certification exams before graduation. The program is limited entry, requiring orientation and advisor consultation before application.
