Rutgers School of Health Professions, located in Newark, New Jersey, offers a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography through its Department of Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences. The CAAHEP-accredited program is the only such bachelor’s degree program in New Jersey and covers abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and related ultrasound specialties with clinical rotations throughout New Jersey and New York. Graduates are eligible to sit for ARDMS certification examinations.
