The Butterfly iQ3 is the third-generation handheld whole-body ultrasound probe from Butterfly Network, released in November 2022. The probe uses a single semiconductor chip transducer rather than traditional piezoelectric elements, enabling one probe to cover cardiac, abdominal, vascular, and superficial-structure imaging modes. The iQ3 connects wirelessly to iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
