The ISUOG Ian Donald Gold Medal is awarded annually by the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) to an individual who has made a significant scientific contribution to the advancement of diagnostic ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology and changed how ultrasound is practiced through research or innovation. Named for Ian Donald (1910–1987), a British obstetrician who pioneered obstetric ultrasound in the late 1950s, the recipient delivers the Ian Donald Gold Medal lecture at the ISUOG World Congress.
