The SDMS W. Frederick Sample Student Excellence Award is an annual scholarly competition open to SDMS student members in diagnostic medical sonography. Submissions are accepted April 1 through May 31. The award recognizes outstanding academic and scientific achievement among sonography students and results are announced at the SDMS Annual Conference.
