The SVU Pioneer Award, dedicated to the memory of David Phillips, recognizes outstanding pioneering scientific contributions to the noninvasive vascular diagnostics profession. Phillips contributed to the field through development of duplex ultrasound and color flow technology. The recipient delivers the David Phillips Memorial Lecture at the SVU Annual Conference and submits a manuscript to the Journal for Vascular Ultrasound (JVU).
