Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is a credentialing organization that offers certifications for cardiovascular professionals. For cardiac sonographers, CCI awards the Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and the Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) credentials. CCI credentials are recognized alongside ARDMS credentials in many cardiology and echocardiography departments and are an alternative pathway to demonstrating competency in cardiac sonography.
