UMBC’s Institute of Extended Learning (IXL) offers a CAAHEP-accredited, 13.5-month non-degree professional certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Located in Catonsville, Maryland, the program is full-time and offers three specialty tracks: General (Abdomen/OB-GYN), Cardiac, and Vascular. Graduates are eligible to sit for national ARDMS and CCI credentialing examinations.
